Overview
This report reviews a small batch of GoDaddy Closeout domains found through ExpiredDomains. The goal was not to chase cheap names, GoDaddy valuation, or names that only sound usable. The goal was to test whether each domain had a real buyer thesis, enough buyer depth, acceptable risk, and enough margin.
The questions I used were:
- Who would realistically buy this domain?
- Is the buyer pool real, or just imagined?
- Is this a business category with budget?
- Is the word order natural?
- Is there one-buyer or trademark risk?
- Is the closeout feed stale?
- Is the resale range realistic compared with hold cost?
This batch was useful because several names looked available in the feed but were already caught, registered, or sitting in investor inventory.
