Today's hand-reg research used a stricter rule than the smaller B-level scans.
The goal was not to find any possible available name.
The goal was to ask:
Can recent reported sales still produce A-level one/two-word .com hand-reg candidates?
The answer today was no.

What This Means
This is not a failed research day.
It is useful evidence.
When the candidate is truly A-level:
short one/two-word .com
natural English
obvious buyer category
strong commercial use case
inspired by recent sales
it is usually already registered.
That means the available hand-reg names from earlier runs were available for a reason: they were B-level names with narrower buyer pools, weaker word order, less exact demand, or less proven resale logic.
Better Acquisition Path
For A-level patterns, fresh hand-reg is probably not the main path.
The better path is:
- Run the same scoring rules on closeouts and expired auctions.
- Watch pending delete lists for the same pattern families.
- Use DropCatch-style lists when the name quality is high enough.
- Keep fresh hand-reg for B-level development, lead-gen, or learning theses.
- Treat A-level hand-reg as a rare exception, not a daily expectation.
Final Takeaway
Today's strict A-level result is:
No buy.
That sounds boring, but it is the right decision.
The research still teaches something important:
If a hand-reg candidate looks obviously strong, there is a high chance the market already noticed it.
So the edge is not forcing weak registrations.
The edge is building a repeatable filter, then applying it to the places where stronger names still occasionally appear: closeouts, auctions, pending deletes, and under-reviewed lists.
