Today I ran a hand-registration research pass using two different input sources: recent sales keywords and a large uploaded candidate list.

The goal was not to prove that hand-regs are easy.

The goal was to see whether any available .com name could survive a stricter investor filter:

Can I explain the buyer, use case, risk, and holding logic before I spend the registration fee?

For this public post, the strongest candidate was:

CertificateOps.com

It was not an automatic buy. It was the only name from the sales-keyword batch that deserved deeper validation before registration.

Research Result First

Today's research was based on two input layers:

1. Recent sales keywords from UnreportedSales
2. An uploaded prefix/suffix .com candidate list

The important result:

No automatic A-level hand-reg buy today.

That is not a failed research day.

It is actually the point of the newer filter.

The goal is not to find a name to buy every day. The goal is to avoid adding weak available .com names just because they passed a registrar search.

The strongest names from today's final filter were:

DomainPriorityDecisionReason
CertificateOps.comB+Final validate / possible buyB2B security / PKI operations angle. Best candidate from the sale-keyword batch, but still needs buyer count, DotDB, exact phrase, Wayback, and registrar checkout.
TicketEcho.comBValidate onlyClean enough ticketing/events phrase from the uploaded list. Needs exact phrase and buyer validation.
EmergingApi.comBValidate onlyDeveloper/API tooling angle. Natural enough to inspect, but not an automatic investor buy.
FiberAssistant.comBValidate onlyAI assistant / telecom-fiber support angle. Needs real buyer evidence.
VerifySmiles.comBValidate onlyDental/identity/verification angle is possible, but the use case must be proven.
ViaCertified.comBValidate onlyCertification/trust angle. Needs phrase validation before buying.
TraceBranding.comBValidate onlyBranding/marketing phrase. Possible agency/tool use case, but buyer demand is unproven.

My practical recommendation:

Do not batch-buy from this run.
If buying anything, validate CertificateOps.com first.
Treat the uploaded-list names as watch/validation candidates only.

Starting Signal

The recent sales keyword input came from UnreportedSales data for June 10, 2026.

The sale keywords I extracted included:

aide
agentic
certificate
IQ
auto
group
cannabis
aged
well
steel
engine
demand
pros
tech / tec

Some useful sale examples behind those keywords:

Sold DomainSale PricePattern Clue
HumanAide.com$2,495Human / aide / assistant-style naming
AgenticCertificate.com$250Agentic + certificate / trust / credential naming
SteelEngine.com$28,650Industrial noun + machine/tech word
DemandPros.com$3,600B2B demand / sales / marketing keyword
CrownAutoGroup.com$30,000Brand + auto + group business naming

I did not treat these sales as proof that every similar keyword is valuable.

I treated them as seed signals.

The rule was:

A sale creates a hypothesis.
It does not create permission to buy weak leftovers.

Batch 1: Sales-Keyword Candidate Generation

From the sales keywords, I generated two-word .com candidates using B2B modifiers such as:

Ops
Desk
Pilot
Flow
Guard
Proof
Audit
Ledger
Metrics
Signal
Logic
Quote
Claims

Then I ran the batch through two checks:

1. .com zone-file check
2. Direct Verisign WHOIS check

The result:

StepCountMeaning
Generated candidates220Two-word .com names created from recent sale keywords and B2B modifiers.
Already delegated in .com zone193Most clean two-word names were already taken or delegated.
Not found in .com zone27Possible available candidates requiring WHOIS confirmation.
Confirmed available by direct WHOIS25Available at registry during research.
Taken after WHOIS confirmation2Not found in zone was not enough; WHOIS caught the difference.

This is an important lesson:

Zone-file absence is not the final answer.
Direct WHOIS still matters.

Sales-Keyword Final Candidates

The available names from the sales-keyword run were mostly not strong enough for a buy.

The best final set:

DomainStatusPriorityDecisionUse CaseRisk
CertificateOps.comAvailable at registryB+Final validate / possible buyCertificate lifecycle operations, TLS/SSL/PKI automation, security operationsExact alt-TLD count was 0 in local files; buyer count and exact phrase must be checked.
CertificateDesk.comAvailable at registryBValidate onlyCertificate request desk, PKI support workflow, internal IT certificate supportMay sound like an internal helpdesk more than a product category.
CertificatePilot.comAvailable at registryBValidate onlyAI/copilot-style certificate management automationMore brandable than exact-match; buyer intent is less direct.
CertificateProof.comAvailable at registryB-Validate onlyCertificate verification, proof of certification, compliance evidenceBetter alternatives like CredentialProof or CertificateVerify may be stronger.
DemandClaims.comAvailable at registryB-Validate onlyLegal demand letters, claims workflows, insurance/legal automationPhrase is ambiguous outside legal context.
AideMetrics.comAvailable at registryB-WatchAI aide / assistant analyticsAide is likely weaker buyer language than agent or assistant.
AideSignal.comAvailable at registryC+WatchAssistant signal monitoring or care-aide trackingNeeds a very specific buyer/use-case thesis.
DemandAide.comAvailable at registryC+WatchDemand generation assistant / sales AI aideFeels generated; better alternatives likely exist.
SteelClaims.comAvailable at registryC+WatchSteel warranty, construction claims, industrial claims workflowSteelEngine.com sold high, but this phrase is much weaker.
DemandFleet.comAvailable at registryC+WatchFleet demand planning, logistics capacity, on-demand fleet operationsMay be backwards compared with natural buyer language.

My read:

CertificateOps.com was the only name worth deeper validation.
Everything else stayed in validate/watch.

Batch 2: Uploaded Prefix/Suffix Candidate List

The second input was an uploaded file:

prefix_master_0.0.1.txt_suffix_master_0.0.1.txt_com_2026-06-08_16-45-59_missing_from_A.txt

This file had 552 lines.

After parsing and normalizing valid .com domains:

541 valid .com domains checked
473 available at registry
68 taken
0 unknown

That is a useful reminder:

Many available names are still available for a reason.

Availability is only the first gate.

The second gate is quality.

The third gate is buyer count.

The fourth gate is renewal discipline.

Uploaded List: Final Filtered Result

After direct WHOIS and heuristic filtering, these were the stronger names kept for review.

This is not a buy list.

It is a validation list.

Why Most Names Stayed Out Of The Buy List

The uploaded list contained many available domains, but many had one or more problems:

  • unclear buyer category
  • awkward word order
  • speculative Web3/crypto wording
  • sensitive or trademark-adjacent terms
  • playful brandables without obvious commercial buyer path
  • too many stronger alternatives likely available on marketplaces

Examples of names I would not treat as investor-grade without a very specific development plan:

AppleMansion.com
AndroidZeta.com
BlogJesus.com
CryptoEscort.com
RegenSex.com
ZeroTrustMusic.com
WildlifeSwag.com
WiredJoker.com

Some may be usable for a project.

That is different from being good passive resale inventory.

Updated Pattern Lesson

Today's run reinforced a rule I am starting to trust more:

Available .com is suspicious until proven otherwise.

This does not mean available domains are always bad.

It means the burden of proof is higher.

Before buying, I want to see:

FilterWhat I Need To See
Natural phraseThe name should pass the radio test and not feel backwards.
Buyer countAt least 30 plausible buyers before buying, especially for hand-reg inventory.
Better alternativesIf many stronger names are available or cheaply listed, this one is probably weak.
Exact phrase / DotDBExact phrase evidence and alt-TLD registrations improve confidence.
Use-case clarityI should be able to explain who would use it in one sentence.
Sales executionIf there is no obvious outbound path, the name should be much stronger.
Renewal ruleDefine before buying: renew only with inquiry, traffic, buyer response, or stronger market evidence.

What I Would Do Next

If I continue this batch, I would not register from the table immediately.

I would run deeper validation on only these:

CertificateOps.com
TicketEcho.com
EmergingApi.com
FiberAssistant.com
VerifySmiles.com
ViaCertified.com
TraceBranding.com

For each one:

1. Registrar checkout price
2. DotDB exact phrase count
3. Google exact phrase check
4. Wayback history check
5. Trademark/common-risk scan
6. Build 30-50 possible buyers
7. Compare better alternatives on Afternic/Sedo/Atom

Only after that would I decide whether any name deserves a registration fee.

Final Takeaway

Today's research produced a lot of available domains.

But the real output was discipline:

Generated list: useful.
Available list: interesting.
Final buy list: almost empty.

For hand-registration investing, that is probably healthy.

The more I research this, the more I think the edge is not in generating names.

The edge is in rejecting almost all of them.
