I read Shane's July 4 auction list on NamePros today.
The list was useful because it was not only a list of names.
It showed how an experienced investor scans auction inventory quickly.
Some names stood out because the buyer path was obvious.
Some stood out because they were short.
Some looked interesting, but the extension or renewal made the decision harder.
That is the part beginners can learn from.
A domain auction list is not a shopping list.
It is a filter.
The first question is not:
Do I like this name?The better question is:
Can I explain why a real buyer would pay more than I paid?That is a different way to read auction lists.
